Ordinary Membership Application
To join the CHIJ Alumni as an Ordinary member, you would need to have completed at least 2 full years in any of the following Schools: CHIJ Primary, Secondary at Victoria Street or Toa Payoh. You must also be at least 24 years of age. If you are below 24 years of age, kindly refer to the Youth Membership.
Please do not submit an application if you are not a former student of the following schools, CHIJ Primary, Secondary at Victoria Street or Toa Payoh. The application will not be accepted and your payments will be donated to the IJ Spirit Fund. Do note that the membership payment is not refundable.
PayPal is the preferred mode of payment. You will be directed to PayPal's secured site for payment. You do not have to set up a PayPal account if you are doing a credit card payment. If your payment is successful, you will receive an email with your invoice and purchase details.

The Ordinary Membership is S$100 and last for a life-time. You will only need to make payment once. Do note that the membership payment is not refundable
All fees paid and do not qualify for membership will be donated to the IJ Spirit Fund. The proceeds will be used to help students in CHIJ Primary and Secondary Schools in Toa Payoh who require various forms of financial assistance.

To join the CHIJ Alumni as a Youth member, you would need to have completed at least 2 full years in any of the following Schools:
- CHIJ Primary Toa Payoh
- CHIJ Secondary Toa Payoh.
The Youth Membership is free and will expire when you turn 24 years old. No payment is required for the Youth Membership.
You will receive a reminder on your registered email account to sign up for our Ordinary Membership prior to the 24th birthdate provided to us.
Admission to CHIJ Primary (Toa Payoh)
You will be eligible for Phase 2A(1) registration. Your child needs to be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident, and you need to be an approved member of the alumni association for at least 1 year prior to registration. For example, if your child is starting Primary 1 in 2019, you would need to be an approved member of the alumni association by 30 June 2017. Please note that you must be a former student of CHIJ Primary (Toa Payoh) before the alumni priority applies. A comprehensive guide to P1 registration is available on the MOE website.
No, it is not guaranteed. Please check balloting history in CHIJ Primary (Toa Payoh) for Phase 2A(1).
No. Former students of CHIJ Secondary (Toa Payoh) are not considered to be former students of CHIJ Primary (Toa Payoh) and therefore not eligible to register in Phase 2A(1).
You will require a letter from CHIJ Alumni to certify your eligibility. This letter will be available for download in the membership portal. Please login into the portal and download the form.My Membership Profile

No, you will not be eligible for Phase 2A1 registration. Under MOE guidelines, you will be required to submit School report book or Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) certificate from CHIJ Primary (Toa Payoh). More details can be found on the MOE website. Do note that the membership payment is non-refundable.

The Primary 1 Phase 2(A)1 letter can be self-generated. However, this function would only be available from 1 April – 30 June for the registration phase each year. This letter is only valid for the year that it’s generated in.
Only download your child’s letter during the period of 1 April – 30 June 2020, if you are looking to secure a place for your child during the 2020 registration phase. If you download the letter in any other year [other than the year of the child’s P1 registration], your details will not be captured and will not be provided to the school admin.
There are no restrictions on editing the following information: Email, DOB, Occupation, Job Industry, Mobile, Country, Password.
However the following information can only be amended by the alumni after registration: First Name, Last Name, NRIC (4 characters), Pri/Sec information, Year of graduation.
