IJ Gives Back!

We are excited to organise another edition of IJ GIVES BACK!
IJ Gives Back! is a CHIJ Alumni initiative and serves as a platform for social outreach to the community around us.
This year, in collaboration with CHIJ Secondary and the Residents’ Committees of Toa Payoh, we are organising a 2- day non-residential camp for primary school children from under-privileged families.
There will be games, handicraft sessions as well as the learning and usage of English in a fun way.
Dates: 28 and 29 November 2025
Time:
Day 1 (28 Nov, Friday): 9 am -5 pm
Day 2 (29 Nov, Saturday): 9am -6pm (dinner included)
Venue: CHIJ Secondary
How you can help:
1) Sponsor a child!
A contribution of $100 per child will go towards meals and materials for the 2 days.
2) Sign up as a volunteer!
We do need help to run the various activities.
It is preferable (but not compulsory) to have some experience in managing primary school children.
Volunteer selection will be at the discretion of the Alumni Exco.
A pre-event briefing for volunteers will be held on 8 November 2025.
Registration for volunteers closes on 1 November 2025.
